Lyda Modiano is the founder of Wide Strategy Ltd, an intentionally small consultancy, specialising in communications and sustainability advisory services with a focus on the social and governance pillars.

Lyda is a veteran in the communications space with 30 years at the helm of communications teams globally, where she gained extensive experience in public affairs, communications, and stakeholder relations. She has successfully led hundreds of communication projects focusing on M&A, corporate integration, stakeholder relations, employee engagement, corporate social responsibility (CSR) strategies, media relations, and brand development, among others.

Having held senior executive roles in organisations such as Philip Morris International, Eurobank, and the Government of the Hellenic Republic, she is able to quickly and effectively support different clients with communications initiatives. She also holds non-executive director roles in non-profit organisations and is a passionate mentor, connector, and advisor to young entrepreneurs. She is multi-lingual and a global citizen, which gives her an advantage when working with global teams.

Her approach to communications delicately combines the commercial side of business with a people-driven perspective. Lyda holds a master's degree in European Studies from the London School of Economics and Political Science. She has also accomplished two executive programs, at INSEAD (executive leadership) and at the University of Cambridge Institute of Sustainable Leadership (sustainability management).
