Judging at UK Business Awards 2018

UK Business Awards celebrates outstanding business innovation among individuals, teams and organisations within the UK. This year’s Finals took place on the 7th of December at the Park Plaza Riverbank, in London. The 45 companies that made it to the Finals sent their representatives to pitch in 20 different categories of awards, before a panel of 80 judges in total.UKBA offers recognition through its awards to 20 companies  who are worthy of honour within their industry. The event also provides an opportunity to share insights and best practices among business professionals, and brings together amazing entrepreneurs with tremendous achievements in their record. Lyda Modiano was honoured to contribute her expertise in the judging panel for the Entrepreneur of the Year Award, alongside the other seasoned professionals in the judging committee:Aniruddha Kaprekar, Kerry Gidziewicz, Ursula Cameron, Farid Zadeh Bagheri.The winner, Mark Wright  Founder of Climb Online has achieved impressive results , quadrupling  the company’s turnover in less than two years and making Climb Online UK’s fastest growing digital marketing agency. City Pantry and Young Foodies also gave admirable pitch presentations.The UK market is so vast, so open to free competition and so full of thriving and inspiring companies. One wonders: To what extent will  Brexit impact this agile market?
