RG Connect 2019 on circular economy

“Sustainability movement is here to stay. The young generation sees it as a matter of survival” was the adamant comment of Fotis Fotiadis, co-founder & CEO of Entomics Biosystems during the discussion on sustainability at the Reload Greece Conference 2019. Lyda Modiano chaired the panel on ‘Circular Economy and Sustainability’ in conversation with Fotis Fotiadis. Some of the key take-aways were: Millenials are much more sensitive to environmental issues than the older generation and so are startups vs. corporates. A circular economy model can be both profitable for business and positive for society. Change towards sustainability needs to be driven by large corporates as well as by policy makers. Entomics biosystems is an RG alumnus. Reload Greece is a start-up accelerator with a mission to build a new generation of entrepreneurs who can create ventures with a positive impact in their home country.
