A new Food Incubator and Innovation Centre in Greece!

An ambitious project, aiming at the creation of a Food Incubator and Innovation Centre (FIIC) kicked-off in Greece recently. The FIIC  project  is commissioned by Rutgers University (New Jersey, USA) and is sponsored by the Stavros Niarchos Foundation.

Wide Strategy is proud to be part of the Consortium of companies/organisations that won the contest for the design and development of FIIC. Our Consortium consists of a multidisciplinary group of 5 organisations and companies: Seven Sigma, KiNNO, Wide Strategy, MITEF and the Confederation of Greek Food Industry (SEVT) which acts as a strategic partner to the Consortium. Over 15 senior and junior consultants will be contributing to  the project, from April to November 2020.

With the increasing changes in the global agricultural & food industry both in terms of new technologies, changing consumer demands and challenges for a sustainable agri-food system, the Greek agri-food industry needed a catalyst to unlock its resources and move towards sustainable economic growth. That is where the Food Incubator and Innovation Center (FIIC) comes to play, to serve as a solid foundation where academia, industry and government can further develop the nation’s agri-food industry.

The implementation phase of the project is due by year-end.
